
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today released the documentary film and book Walking to the God based on the foot route of Char Dham Yatra at the camp office. During this, those who made special contribution in the field of cleanliness were also honored.
Chief Minister said that a 25-member team of experts traveled 1170 KM for 51 days to find the old routes on the Char dham track, which is historic. The Chief Minister said that he was happy that this team was flagged off by him on October 25, 2021.
Chief Minister said that the documentary and book on the ancient Char dham Yatra would preserve our age-old heritage and Uttarakhand would get a new identity. So far more than 30 lakh devotees have come to Uttarakhand in the Chardham Yatra that started after two years. He said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has a special attachment to Uttarakhand. During the Kedarnath Yatra on 5 November 2021, the Prime Minister had described the third decade of the 21st century as the decade of Uttarakhand. Today we are moving in that direction.
Today the work of beautification of Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham is in progress. Cable car planning work is going on for Kedarnath. Manaskhand Mandir Mala Mission is being started to make the ancient temples of Kumaon region grand.
During this, Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj, Secretary Tourism Sachin Kurve, Additional Secretary Tourism C Ravi Shankar, ACEO Adventure Tourism Col Ashwini Pundir, ACEO Infrastructure Pooja Garbyal and other officials of the Tourism Department were present.
